Here's a song I wrote during the last short Covid lockdown. For me personally the lockdowns have been fantastic. I get heaps of time to experiment with music and spend time in the garden and hang out with my Houselings.
I guess you could see it as a period of "Not Quite Voluntary Simplicity" .
However I sort of feel guilty that I enjoy it so much when I know that my experience is an accident of geography and for many people this has been a time of heartache and loss.
This is played on a pretty cheap ukulele with an alternative tuning that gives it a really curious sound that is kind of pretty ....but with a sense of something a bit fragile underlying.
